When I learned bespoke clothiers, Doyle Mueser's opened a boutique in the West Village I knew I had to pay them a visit. Designing duo Amber Doyle and Jake Mueser, unite their talent to produce a luxurious collection using some of the finest fabrics, and according to Mueser, “Our aim is to deliver a collaborative experience to the customer, the end result is something they can take great pride in because it is their own creation.”  

At Doyle Mueser's you're building your suit from scratch, so during the fitting process you'll have to use your imagination. An experienced Tailor helps you to select the ideal material for your suit, formal and casual wear. Doyle Mueser offer a generous selection of fabrics from the finest and most reputable mills in the world to meet your sartorial needs.

After taking extensive measurements and assess your posture, a master cutter will create your pattern, accounting for every nuance of your physique. The process generally involves three to five fittings over six to ten week - all crafted in New York City. All finishing touches – from buttonholes to decorative pick-stitches – are completed entirely by hand.

Doyle Mueser's shirts are individually hand cut and sewn to your specifications. All of their shirts are single needle- stitched and they offer a vast selection of cuffs, collars and flourishes, and a virtually limitless array of fabrics. 

 Doyle Mueser's offer a bespoke line of ties for which you can select the color, pattern, width and style made in the finest silk mills in England.

I fancy the skulls on the accessories because it's unexpected and it's obvious the designers pay attention to detal. the accessorties range from handcrafted jewelry to leather goods.

 

 

Ryan Matthew is Doyle Mueser's in house accessories designer who employs various techniques, including lost wax casting, hand carving, engraving, and stone setting to ensure each piece is unique and perfectly finished.
